Eitan Orenstein

Judge (ret.) former Pres. of T.A. District Court, advocate, mediator and arbitrator
LL.M Haifa University.
He is a graduated of a mediation course and diploma studies "Judges as Managers Program" at the Leon Recanati Scholl of Business Administration at Tel Aviv University.
He Joined the Israeli Bar in 1982.

Judge Eitan Orenstein (ret.) was an active attorney, and promoted to senior partner at the law firm of Dr. J. Segev & Co. Specialized in civil law, litigation in legal proceedings in all courts, including petitions to the Supreme Court; Arbitrator; officially appointed as liquidator and receiver. Commercial activity: contracts, real estate transactions, stock exchange proceedings. Promoted to managing partner of the law firm, in charge of hiring lawyers, interns and administrative staff, and the firm´s real estate department.He was appointed as a Magistrate Judge in 2001, focused on civil cases.

In 2007 he was promoted to the Tel Aviv- Jaffa District Court. Presided in the insolvency and civil divisions of the court, judging: tax cases, corporate law, administrative motions, temporary injunctions, intellectual property, land law, commercial cases, etc. 

In 2014 he was appointed as Vice Presiding at the Tel Aviv-Jaffa District Court; In charge of the Insolvency Division and in 2016 he was appointed as President of the Tel Aviv-Jaffa District Court. 

Judge Eitan Orenstein (ret.) joined the firm in 2021, after he retired from Court.

Judge Eitan Orenstein (ret.), was a Member of the Israeli Association of Judges. Chairman of the Juridical Committee for "Securities in AppealCases". Member of the "Civil Procedures Committee". Member of the Judicial committee of the new Insolvency and Economic and Rehabilitation Law. Chairman of the Committee for the Implementation of "Online Dispute Resolutions", in Israel.  

Judge Eitan Orenstein (ret.), teaches Law of Contracts and Corporate Lawat The School of Business,the College of Management Academic Studies, Rishon Lezion. He Lectures and organizes seminars for Judges and legal assistants at The Institute of Advanced Judicial Studies.
